5xD Solid Carbide Drill —Engineered for Medium-Depth Steel Drilling

The 5xD carbide drill for steel is designed for medium-depth hole machining where drilling stability, chip evacuation, and hole straightness are more demanding than standard short-hole applications. Compared with 3xD drilling, 5xD applications require better flute capacity, stronger tool rigidity, and more stable chip control over a longer cutting depth.

This drill is manufactured from imported MG grade 0.8 μm submicron tungsten carbide rods with 10% cobalt content, providing the toughness and edge strength required for high-speed steel drilling.
