3xD Solid Carbide Drill —Engineered for Stainless Steel

The 3xD carbide drill for stainless steel is specially developed for short-hole drilling in stainless steel materials where work hardening, high cutting temperature, chip adhesion, and tool wear are common challenges. Compared with general steel drilling, stainless steel requires better edge stability, smoother chip evacuation, and stronger heat resistance during machining.

This drill is manufactured from imported MG grade 0.8 μm submicron tungsten carbide rods with 10% cobalt content, providing the toughness and edge strength required for high-speed stainless steel drilling. With optimized point geometry, stable flute design, self-developed high-performance coating, and controlled edge passivation, it helps reduce drill walking, improve chip breaking, and maintain consistent hole quality in stainless steel applications.
